At The Art of Dance you have the convenience of  the TAOD Boutique
located right inside our studio!

 

We feel a dress code is very important, as it creates a better dance environment; therefore, the dress code will be enforced. Please only buy your shoes from the TAOD Boutique. Do not buy them at other dance apparel stores, retail stores, such Walmart or Target. The shoes below can ONLY be purchased at the TAOD Boutique and are the ONLY shoes that will be allowed in recitals.

 

HAIR

• Dancers should wear their hair in a ponytail and in a bun for all Ballet Classes

WHAT NOT TO WEAR

• Dancers should not wear “street clothes”
• No “street or shoes”
• No skirts or dresses (unless they are a dance skirt)
• Dancers should not wear jeans
• Dancers should not wear dangling earrings or hoops
• Dancers should avoid wearing necklaces and bracelets
