  • Respect the law, including those laws governing defamation, discrimination, harassment, and copyright and fair use. As stated in this handbook, parents and students should never post negative comments about other studios or teachers. Also, please do not post negative comments about studio activities such as competitions, conventions, and performances or about the directors of those events.
  • Ensure that your social networking conduct is consistent with all of the policies contained.

Waiver/Consent

Parents/Guardians must accept our online waiver/consent form via Studio Director Account before their child is able to attend classes.

Class Visitors

Safety issues and legal responsibilities make it impossible for us to allow students to bring visitors into the classroom. Of course, we always welcome anyone to try a class with a signed waiver.

Parking Lot Safety

The safety of all our dancers and TAOD Families is very important to us, and we appreciate everyone’s cooperation in help keeping us safe.

  • Speed: Please make sure while on TAOD property that we drive
  • Front Parking Lot: It may be safer to back into the parking spots, that way when leaving you do not have to back out of a spot, making it easier to see cars and pedestrians.
  • Drop Off: Please do not park in front of the building. We do not want cars lining up as it can get backed up to M59 impeding traffic from entering the parking lot. During peak times you may need to pull around through the back parking and do drop off in front of the building prior to exiting the lot. The safest way to drop off would be to park and walk your dancer in.
  • Pick Up: Again, please do not park in front of the building, especially on the “wrong side” of the parking lot (in front of the building). This is especially important when it is dark outside as we have had concerns about headlights blinding drivers as they enter the parking lot. The safest way to pick up would be to park and walk in to pick up your dancer.
  • Other Safety: Please do not allow your children to play in the parking lot or in front of the building. We also ask that they do not climb on the brick walls or play on the handrails.
